Founding Maine employers post free — limited to the first 50 businesses
207Hire

Built by Mainers, for Mainers

207Hire was created by Mainers who believe finding good local work — and finding good local people — shouldn't be complicated or expensive.

We watched larger job boards become more expensive, less personal, and harder for small Maine businesses to navigate. Employers could spend more without knowing what their final bill would be, while job seekers had to sort through stale listings, unclear pay, and jobs that weren't truly local.

We knew Maine could do better. So the 207Hire team built a job board centered on trust, transparency, and real connections within our communities.

That means:

  • Local by design. We focus on Maine employers and Maine opportunities, and every listing is human-reviewed.
  • Clear, fair pricing. No variable sponsored budget, per-click charge, or surprise advertising bill.
  • Direct connections. Applications go straight to the employer so local people can connect without unnecessary barriers.
  • Fresh opportunities. Listings expire after 30 days, helping job seekers spend their time on current openings.

207Hire isn't trying to be the biggest job board. We're building the one Maine can trust — a place where local businesses can grow, local people can find meaningful work, and more hiring dollars stay right here in our state.

That's the kind of job board we wanted for our community. We hope it becomes yours, too.
