About the role

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the Operations Department (Code 300.1), Operations Department Planning Manager of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.

What you'll do

You will serve as the shipyard's principal Advanced Industrial Management (AIM) management and program analyst and subject-matter authority.,You will determines how broad Advanced Industrial Management (AIM) program goals and higher-level requirements,You will manage, plan, direct, and coordinate the implementation and maintenance of the Advanced Industrial Management (AIM) program.,You will plan and execute short and long range resource needs.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience planning, developing, and coordinating the program analysis and governance activities necessary to maintain effective shipyard-wide use of Advanced Industrial Management (AIM). Experience developing and delivering training, briefings, and guidance necessary to ensure process owners and managers consistently understand and apply Advanced Industrial Management (AIM) requirements. Experience analyzing interrelated issues involving management priorities, organizational responsibilities, data requirements, system interfaces, budget and resource constraints, cost and schedule considerations, project team needs, corporate goals, and external program requirements. Experience establishing local methods and controls for Advanced Industrial Management (AIM) data review, component unit data use, problem report tracking, data reuse, and reporting consistency to support management decision-making and effective program execution. Experience resolving or making authoritative recommendations on complex AIM program/process conflicts involving schedule adherence, resource alignment, cost implications, data quality, process consistency, and program compliance.
